In March 2019, Nsubuga Ronnie was hired to help train Miss Curvy Uganda Competitors.
The pageant, was aimed to inspire plus size women and promote body positivity. The competition kicked off in big gear of criticism from the media to members of the public with a misconception of Using the lady’s curves to promote Tourism.
Nsubuga Ronnie joined the team as a casting director, Pageant coach and trainer. In April, a Number of twenty-five (25) girls were taken to a training Bootcamp at Forest Park Resort in Buloba for a two weeks vigorous training.

The two weeks of training Miss Curvy contestants will never be forgotten in Ronnie’s training diary.
The girls woke up to a tense Fitness workout program to core areas of beauty pageant preparations that involved interview preparations, wardrobe consultations, runway walk training, Speech &Diction classes, Tourism Classes, Food & Nutrition, Etiquette and Grooming, Business and lastly understanding the major roles and duties of the girl that wins the pageant.
Forest Park Buloba gave the girls a special treat each day with nice meals, good accommodation and various activities that included sports, Ziplining, Gym, swimming, A camp fire among the many.
The two weeks helped the girls to improve on their self-esteem, speech and love for their bodies. With too much pride, the girls moved back to Kampala.
